Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Medicine is a distinct system of primary health care utilizing the best of science, philosophy and practice of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of illness, based upon the objective observation of the nature of health and disease, and continually reexamined in the light of scientific advances. Naturopathic medicine attempts to find and treat the underlying cause of the patient’s condition rather than focusing solely on symptomatic treatment.

Naturopathic physicians (NDs) are clinically trained primary care physicians who have graduated from an accredited four-year naturopathic medical school. They work with patients of all ages to identify the underlying causes of disease and provide evidence informed therapies to help facilitate the body’s ability to restore and maintain optimal health.
